Maximum Care Is Now FlexCare Extended Care Premium
If you're looking for Mopar Maximum Care, you'll now find it under a new name. Stellantis replaced Mopar Vehicle Protection with FlexCare, its brand for vehicle service contracts and related protection products. The change was announced in October 2024, and FlexCare replaced Mopar Vehicle Protection in January 2025. Mopar is still the name for Stellantis parts and accessories.

What Each Plan Covers Today
Extended Care Premium (formerly Maximum Care): FlexCare's broadest mechanical plan, with repair coverage on more than 5,000 components beyond the factory warranty.
Extended Care Plus (formerly Added Care and Added Care Plus): more than 800 major components.
Extended Care (formerly Powertrain Care Plus): engine, transmission, driveline, steering and air conditioning.
All three come with a variety of time and mileage terms and deductibles. Plan availability, terms and price depend on your vehicle (VIN, mileage, in-service date) and eligibility. Compare them side by side → /plans
Like the plans before them, FlexCare plans are vehicle service contracts, not warranties or insurance. Many people still call them a Mopar extended warranty.
I Already Have a Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan. What Changes?
According to Mopar, existing Mopar Vehicle Protection plans keep the same coverage and service, and Mopar's FlexCare FAQs apply to both FlexCare and Mopar Vehicle Protection plans. Your contract still governs your coverage. To confirm your terms, check your contract or call us at (615) 384-2886 ext 1033.
Plan ending soon? FlexCare Advantage (/flexcare-advantage) can continue mechanical coverage after an existing FlexCare or Mopar Vehicle Protection plan ends, for eligible vehicles.
